But some of the most profound growth is invisible. It happens in grief. In rest. In the quiet period after something ends and before something new begins.

The Fallow Season

Farmers know that land needs to rest to remain fertile. A field left unplanted is not a failed field โ€” it is a field preparing.

We are not so different.

When you are in a season that feels like nothing is happening, it may be that everything is happening beneath the surface. Roots deepen in winter. Healing happens in sleep. Integration takes time.

What to Do When Growth Feels Absent

Stop measuring. Not forever โ€” but for now. Instead of tracking progress, track presence. What are you learning to notice? What is becoming less frightening? What old story are you slowly releasing?

These are not nothing. These are everything.
